Design 1047 Baccarat
This beautiful yawl looks like a near sister to Mah Jong, design #1261, which I posted about yesterday, but was built 4 years earlier. Baccarat was built for a very famous racing sailor by the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard of Germany. She was launched in 1953.
The boat was constructed of white oak for framing and backbone with mahogany planking.
