Design 2234 Mania Two

As a follow up to my previous post this 92' aluminum motoryacht was constructed by Stephens Marine of California and launched in 1976. Our files say it was designed for "a prominent European yachtsman" and with a little snooping around I can see the client was one Nicholas Goulandris. I believe he was an important collector of ancient Greek art, and his collection is in a museum in Athens bearing his name.

It's an interesting boat and is described as a fishing yacht. Most notable is a centerline inboard - outboard that was used in trolling mode only. She was otherwise powered by twin MTU 12V331 TC71-12 cylinder diesels generating 1,100 hp each and turning 46" diameter 4-bladed propellers for a top speed of 21 knots.

Here is the general arrangement plan.

Principal dimensions are as listed in my previous post.
