S S to Participate in IYRS Fall Lecture Series
The 2011 IYRS (International Yacht Restoration School) Fall Lecture Series will focus on Environmental Issues Facing Sailors and the Marine World. On November 29 one of our own naval architects, Daniela Abbott, will be the guest lecturer and speaking about “Green” Yachting: Eco-consciousness in Today’s Marine Industry.
Daniela works in our Newport, Rhode island office. She obtained her naval architecture/marine engineering degree from Webb Institute and her Master's from the University of Southampton. In addition she is a licensed professional engineer. On top of that she's a pretty good speaker so don't miss her lecture if you are in the area.
